The Department of Mathematics came into existence in the year 1979. The Department of Mathematics is dedicated to impart high-quality education in Mathematics to the students for helping them to solve challenging problems and theories. The Department started offering postgraduate course in 2008. There are around 160 students in the UG and PG classes. The Department was upgraded to a Research Centre in the year 2018 with 3 research supervisors. Along with teaching responsibilities, the faculty members are actively involved in Research. So far, 12 scholars have been awarded Doctorates and 12 scholars are currently pursuing research. More than 150 articles have been published by the Research Centre.
